Growing up, I always identified myself as an athlete. I picked up a glove at 5 years old and that began my 12-year long softball journey. During my career I was blessed with great coaches, specifically Chance Cain. He met me when I was a little 8TH grader just trying to figure out the ropes of it all. During my time under Coach Cain he taught me that while exceeding on the field was great, what kind of person I was off the field mattered more. That when I hung up my helmet, being a good person is what it’s about. I carry that with me now as my coaching journey begins. I always new I wanted to be in the health industry and obtained an AS in Exercise Science from Bryan University. Soon after, I stepped into my first Crossfit box in 2018 where I, for the first time, could foresee a future in something that I could do for the rest of my life. I believe in the opportunity it gives as well as the community it develops, and that it what drives me every single day!
