I first started my fitness journey as a high school football and basketball player. I continued playing football in Junior College until a knee injury ended my football career, and had me looking elsewhere to continue my fitness journey. I began power lifting and bodybuilding shortly thereafter and had my first personal training position in 1976. After graduating from FSU in 1980 with a degree in Statistics, I joined the corporate finance world, but continued to be active in fitness and personal training on a part time basis. I discovered CrossFit in 2009 and became Level One certified in February of 2011 and began my CrossFit coaching career. Jeff Rice and I opened a CrossFit gym in October of 2013 after my retirement from the corporate world to fulfill our passion to deliver the CrossFit methodology to our community. I am also a USAW certified Olympic Lifting Coach and CrossFit certified in both Olympic Lifting and Masters Methodology. I love what I do and get the greatest joy out of seeing our clients grow and blossom into confident athletes!
