Hi my name is Kelly Tustian and I am 35 years old. I am a wife and a mother of 3 wonderful children!! I joined the CrossFit Etowah team as a member in 2013. My journey began as an extremely overweight, unhappy, woman desperate for some guidance on how to make a lifestyle change. I pushed myself to come to 4 classes a week every week. In a little over a month I had hit my first weight loss goal of 30 pounds lost! Just after that I found out I was pregnant with baby number 3! Excited and nervous I chose to continue to show up and out in 100% effort in any way i could! 9 months later in August 2014 baby Ty was welcomed into our CrossFit community!! After having the baby I vowed to myself that I was going to kick my lifestyle of bad eating and poor exercising to the curb!! I came to CrossFit 5-6 times a week followed the paleo diet and started seeing amazing results! I started feeling confident in my own skin!!! I wanted to give back to the community that helped me be the person I always new I could be so I decided to become A CrossFit Level 1 Coach. I took the course and passed in April 2016!!! I finally hit my ultimate weight loss goal in August 2016!! 100 pounds lost!! It is nothing short of a blessing that I am able to share my passion for CrossFit with the very same community that is such major part in my lifestyle change!! We stay strong together!!!
