My name is Scott Lingerfelt. My fitness journey started as a teenager shortly after high school when I discovered the sport of powerlifting. I placed 5th in the nation at the NFPA nationals in Oklahoma City in the teenage division. A few years after that I turned my focus to bodybuilding (more so as a hobby than a sport) where I learned that nutrition was a key part in making your body look the way you want it to. After many years of that I decided that I just needed a little more…so I tried some MMA classes and got hooked! I focused more so on the Muay Thai aspect where I was able to become and amateur fighter and teach the early morning Thai classes. I did that for about 5 years. Having realized that I was getting too old to be punched in the face I decided to hang up my gloves and that is when I walked into this gym for the first time. I have been CrossFitting for about 2 years now and have recently attained my CF Level 1 trainers certificate. I truly believe that this is the last stop on my fitness journey, as everything that we teach are functional movements to aid us in everyday life. I am passionate about helping anyone that walks through our door achieve their fitness goals.
